Elaborately Decorated Christmas Tree With Gifts

Most of you know that I am Jewish, but most of my immediately family are not, and so they celebrate Christmas while I celebrate Hanukkah.

Our Christmas tree features a peacock motif and even includes Christopher Radko and Kurt Adler Hanukkah ornaments scattered about the tree with the Radko Star of David just visible on the left-hand side, mid tree. Most of our ornaments are one of a kind and we usually buy at least one new one per year.

When I found a peacock tree topper I just had to have it no matter the cost. Now, however, I am trying to save up for a real taxidermy peacock, that died naturally from a farm, for our tree topper, maybe with a Star of David!

We have about 2500 LED lights on the tree plus around 50 or so, maybe less, of the old-fashioned candle lights that clip on the tree. I adore those and feel it gives the tree a nostalgic, old-world Christmas feel.
