Now before anyone starts freaking out, I do not allow Seth to play with knives nor does he ever try to!! This is acting/modeling with adult supervision!
Why I need this disclaimer is beyond me... an intelligent human being should be able to tell that this is stock for artists and that not all art is sunshine & happiness! That said, kids, do not try this at home!
Okay, now that that is out of the way... let me explain what this is.
This evening Seth and I were goofing around with the camera and he was doing all sorts of acrobatic poses. Somehow it ended up with him holding a butcher knife posing like he is just hacking away at some poor slob.
Who, you say? Well, you are the artists... you show us!
Needless to say, these photos will be allowed for darker themes unlike other child stock.
I shouldn't have to say this, but anything with nudity, sexual tones or pornographic is not only breaking my rules but is also very much illegal and will be reported immediately.
If you wish to donate to our lighting fund via PayPal you will receive up to 10 model photos of your direction of Seth with a $10 or more donation. These will be exclusive to you, unless you wish to release them for others to use. Regular stock rules will apply.
The lighting and backdrop kit we are wanting to purchase will cost us $250 USD!
Why do you need a disclaimer? Who looks at photos on deviantART and thinks 'this is clearly a perfect representation of the everyday lives of these people'? They live in a house with sheets all over the walls and carry knives around. It's art, seriously, lighten up.
Thank you! People nowadays are just way to sensitive and "politically correct," which is the bane of my existence!
Some ultra liberal soccer mom type sent me a note one day and was all "oh that's sooo horrible that you let a kid play with weapons and knives, you should be reported!" To which I responded with "no, what should be reported is that you are raising kids who cannot defend themselves and who grow up to be victims all their lives. Try to grow some stones and raise kids, not pussies!" She never replied back!
I know the type. Some of them in my neighborhood won't even allow their kids to play on the monkey bars. The problem with people like that is, they refuse to live in the real world. The sad part is that they're actually hurting their children with their coddling. A friend of mine has two daughters, and he taught them how to handle guns at an early age. They're grown-ups now, and I know that if God forbid something bad was to happen they will be the ones who survive.
