Now before anyone starts freaking out, I do not allow Seth to play with knives nor does he ever try to!! This is acting/modeling with adult supervision!
Why I need this disclaimer is beyond me... an intelligent human being should be able to tell that this is stock for artists and that not all art is sunshine & happiness! That said, kids, do not try this at home!
Okay, now that that is out of the way... let me explain what this is.
This evening Seth and I were goofing around with the camera and he was doing all sorts of acrobatic poses. Somehow it ended up with him holding a butcher knife posing like he is just hacking away at some poor slob.
Who, you say? Well, you are the artists... you show us!
Needless to say, these photos will be allowed for darker themes unlike other child stock.
I shouldn't have to say this, but anything with nudity, sexual tones or pornographic is not only breaking my rules but is also very much illegal and will be reported immediately.

Thank you! People nowadays are just way to sensitive and "politically correct," which is the bane of my existence!
Some ultra liberal soccer mom type sent me a note one day and was all "oh that's sooo horrible that you let a kid play with weapons and knives, you should be reported!" To which I responded with "no, what should be reported is that you are raising kids who cannot defend themselves and who grow up to be victims all their lives. Try to grow some stones and raise kids, not pussies!" She never replied back!
I know the type. Some of them in my neighborhood won't even allow their kids to play on the monkey bars. The problem with people like that is, they refuse to live in the real world. The sad part is that they're actually hurting their children with their coddling. A friend of mine has two daughters, and he taught them how to handle guns at an early age. They're grown-ups now, and I know that if God forbid something bad was to happen they will be the ones who survive.
Thank you! He is extremely shy so I appreciate the compliment. I let him read what you said. I posted several more poses from this series. He worked really hard on his facial expressions.
After I had him dressed in his authentic medieval garb we took your suggestion of using a plushie that belongs to one of our dogs to simulate skinning an animal after hunting it. We didn't really destroy the plushie as our dog would pout lol I'll hopefully get that set up sometime this week.
No, not a scar. Just scratches from climbing trees. He's a typical rambunctious little boy and gets cuts, scratches and bruises daily! I think I keep Band-Aid, Peroxide & Neosporin in business with Seth!
Well even with the knife, I think he is cute as a button. Something like this I would not have really thought twice about. In fact by letting a kid his age hold a knife with you there, could be a good thing. It shows him that you have trust in him, and you can teach him what is right and wrong and reality and fantasy. We the parents know if our child knows the difference in what is real and what is not. You should not have to put a disclaimer to explain yourself but it may stop ppl from giving their opinions.... oh wait I think I just gave mine lol. But that was my long winded way of saying I agree with you.
Haha I was having a hard time not giggling and going "aww, you are just sooo cute, baby!" while looking through the view finder! Between shots he was hugging and kissing me and being his typical sweet 9 y/o self. He's a great little actor to pull off a murderous child so well.
So far I have been very lucky that the ultra-lib yuppy soccer supermom's haven't condemned me to hell yet I am just waiting for it to happen, though.
Awesome hun! That was kind of what we were going for: The Omen, Damien, The Good Son, etc... He tried really hard to get the facial expressions looking evil and sinister. I think he did well for a 9 y/o
This photo is mild. But, we are not the wimpy kind of people. We do, however, know the difference between right and wrong, acting and reality. I only put the disclaimer up for people who cannot realize that this is a stock account for artists to use. Art is not always roses, rainbows and happy times.
