Description

This is China Rose, my rescued American Pit Bull Terrier, who we found clinging to our fence one night.

She was approximately 10 months old when we found her pregnant and took her in. Due to over crowding and massive amounts of euthanasia of "pit bull breeds" at shelters we found homes for 4 puppies and kept 4.

Moxie and Pixie are two of the puppies that we kept.

China Rose has been the best mother dog I've literally ever seen. Her grown puppies are approaching 2 years old and she is still mothering them like infants. In fact, with Pixie being completely blind she acts even more gentle with her at times appearing to "guide" her around and always includes her in their wrestling matches but letting Pixie always win. And when sissy gets too rough with Pixie, mommy intervenes.

China Rose definitely deserves "World's Best Mommy" title!
